Power Puzzle- year 2007 Power puzzle- meeting the world's power demand. Ok, now guess what? We used all our past year's information to make something up that would help save power. So we went to the Poway Unified School District Food and Nutrition Center to see what needed improving. We found that they were already pretty good when it came to power efficiency, but we figured that if they put a bank of Nanosolar's solar panels on their roof, it would save TONS of power! So we put all this information into a video and showed it to the judges as our presentation. This year we won First place robot performance at the UCSD tournament and at the Legoland tournament! (The Legoland tournament is a big state tournament were about 50 teams compete!) We also won the Robot Design award. |
